| Who We Are: |
| The Office of the Public Defender for the Conasauga Judicial Circuit was created by the Georgia Legislature in 2003. The office reports to the Georgia Public Defender Standards Council. The Office is responsible for providing zealous representation to indigent accused persons in Whitfield and Murray Counties constituting the Conasauga Judicial Circuit. The Office will assume its responsibilities on January 1, 2005. |

The Office of the Public Defender for the Conasauga Judicial Circuit was created by the Georgia Legislature in 2003. The office reports to the Georgia Public Defender Standards Council. The Office is responsible for providing zealous representation to indigent accused persons in Whitfield and Murray Counties constituting the Conasauga Judicial Circuit. If an individual cannot afford a lawyer in a criminal matter, the court will refer the individual to the Office of the Public Defender. |
