| Who We Are: |
| The Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys and the Georgia Access to Justice Project Civil Pro Bono Project provides legal services to incarcerated mothers. The Pro Bono Project's mission is to ensure that all mothers have access to attorneys and information regarding their parental rights and responsibilities. Volunteer attorneys provide legal advice relating to family law issues, including but not limited to deprivation proceedings, termination of parental rights, custody, legitimation, and child support. Services are provided through written correspondence, legal serminars, and bi-monthly visits to correctional facilities throughout Georgia. |
