Consumers with complaints against financial institutions chartered or otherwise supervised by the State of Georgia Department of Banking and Finance (banks, credit unions, mortgage brokers, mortgage lenders, check cashers, and check sellers) can file complaints with the Department of Banking and Finance Legal and Consumer Affairs Division. This web site also contains information about how to file complaints against other financial institutions such as savings and loans, finance companies, credit unions, credit card companies, and credit reporting agencies.

Letter to Correct Your Credit Report
If there are errors on your credit report, you have the right to get them corrected. You may also ask the credit reporting company to contact the creditors appearing on your report to verify that you owe a debt to those the creditors. You may use this form to begin this process.
