¿Qué es el ITIN y Cómo Puedo Solicitar Uno? (Separate Website)
Desde el 1 de julio de 1996, el IRS (siglas en inglés para el Servicio de Impuestos) empezó a otorgar el Número de Identificación Personal del Contribuyente (ITIN, siglas en inglés) a laspersons exigidas registrar reportes de impuesto (reportes de income tax), pero las cuales no son elegibles para un SSN (siglas en inglés para Número de Seguro Social). Es un número con nueve números igual al SSN. Si alguien es elegible para un SSN válido, sin embargo, ellos NO son elegibles para solicitar un ITIN.
