집 안 팔고도 메디케이드로 양로원에 갈 수 있습니다!
You can keep your home and still get Medicaid! 그렇습니다. 메디케이드 수혜자격을 위하여 집을 없애지 않아도 됩니다. 사실은 집을 없앰으로 인하여 수혜자격을 받지 못할 수도 있습니다. 수혜자나 수혜자의 배우자가 살아있는동안 집을 소유할 수 있으나 법적 공제혜택 자격에 미달일 경우 주정부는 메디케이드가 지출한 혜택비용을 회수하기 위하여 법원에 그 집에 대한 선취득권을 신청할 수 있습니다. (아래를 보세요.) 메디케이드는 저소득층과 재산과 재원이 적은 사람들을 위한 보험제도 입니다. 규정은 매우 엄합니다. 이 책자는 양로원 메디케이드 때문에 집을 잃을까 하는 걱정에 관하여 설명합니다. 이 책자의 의도는 교육차원의 정보 전달이지 법률자문은 아닙니다.
